Morning with the Pointy Lillies

A nice morning to paint in the frontyard. I had been looking at these pointy lillies for several days. The provençal light through the leaves was impressive. Another beautiful day at the mountain.

Backyard Springtime

After much hesitation, I've returned to what I like best...nature.  I bought some new paper on the Cours Mirabeau in Aix-en-Provence which sometimes gives some inspiration in the dry spells of creativity.  This small format was done with soft pastels, colored pencils and acrylic paint.

Newly Framed Paintings

I took the time to photograph three works I had framed up at the local encadrement magasin in Aix-en-Provence.  High quality oak frames with great seals and certificates of authenticity on the backside to give a great finish to these works.

Snake and Roadrunner‏

While on a hike near where I found Mary and Child, I saw something move in the Rosemary bush. I reached down and grabbed this rare snake. The roadrunner was an easy catch near the red sand dunes next to the dinosaur eggs.
